Escape From Earth recorded songs with legendary producer Bob Ezrin (Pink Floyd, Kiss, Alice Cooper, Jane’s Addiction) and co-producer Rae DiLeo (Filter). The result is a sonic journey through melodically rich hooks, powerful grooves, soaring vocal harmonies and beautiful guitar melodies. The music enhances the frustrated, yet often hopeful lyrical content of the songs. "I write about universal emotions," offers Chris. "There’s a certain sense of comfort and community associated with knowing that many of us deal with the same kinds of issues in our lives." Escape From Earth regularly plays Chicago’s Metro and House of Blues, consistently drawing over 900+ fans in Chicago (with recent nearly sold out shows at Metro and House of Blues – 1,000+ fans). Escape From Earth toured with CKY, (hed)PE, Taproot and Pillar and played to sold out crowds throughout the Midwest. Escape From Earth has also played Hollywood’s Dragonfly. Escape From Earth’s "Never Hear" is the only unsigned band to ever be featured on WZZN’s Fresh @ Five program. Escape From Earth receives strong support from both Chicago rock stations, WZZN and WKQX (Q101), with regular spins on specialty programming on both stations – also appearing live in the studio on both stations. WJJO (Madison), WIIL (Kenosha), and WRTT (Huntsville, AL) are also spinning Escape From Earth songs. Escape From Earth’s song ""Without" won 2nd Prize in the Rock Category of the 2003 International Songwriting Competition (11,000+ total songs entered) and the song "Beautiful" won 3rd Prize in March 2004 Songofthemonth.com Competition.
