The Magnificents

Editorial Reviews
NME
"This Is The Magnificents is a hook-laden voyage of cheap thrills, unchained ambition, raw excitement and potentially era-defining music..."

Product Description
Debut album from Edinburgh four piece The Magnificents, who mix the raw punk power of The Stooges with the looping proto-dance floor boffinry of Kraftwerk – test pilots for a new sound that should rightfully see them installed as the Jesus & Mary Chain for the electronic generation. The Magnificents have toured with Mogwai, Enon, Broadcast & Stereolab, and just finished a tour in the UK with The Beta Band. They were the NME’s tip for 2004 as part of "Artwave – The New British Invasion."
