About the Artist
Stalins War was concieved in the skate boarding Mecca of Santa Cruz, California, in the grueling summer of 1998. Born of a desire and inspiration to play music, the band began working to define their own brand of catchy hardcore, with powerful and engaging lyrics. Fierce and relentless, the sound and stage presence of Stalins War has been compared to the likes of Boy Sets Fire and Strike Anywhere, cleverly fusing the best elements of hardcore, punk, and metal creating a passionate blend of metallic guitar leads, heavy breakdowns, and dueling male/female screams and melody. As a follow-up to their four independent releases and their latest 7"EP, Stalins War has recently released their newest full-length, "Rebirth From Flames", on UnFun Records; and with three full US tours and a score of smaller trips under their belts, Stalins War continues to pump out music that was not only meant to be heard, but experienced to its full capacity, through their potently energetic! stage show.

Product Description
This is the latest full length record by Santa Cruz CA band Stalins War. The album was recorded at Castle Ultimate in Oakland, CA by Zach Ohren and Mastered by Brandon Fitzgerald. Drum tracks were done by the bands ex drummer Rick Holbrook. The songs "Isla de los Muertos" and "Red Tears and Calloused Hnads" feature the famous guest vocals by Brandon Abhorrance. Moana's vocals are still screamy and thrashy, however these songs contain much more melodic parts as well.
