About the Artist
Maggie Drennon never sang in public until after high school. She met Mary Maddux and formed Ceili's Muse in 1989, which became the most popular all-female traditional act in circuits across Texas and the Midwest. The Muse was so overwhelmed with cult following it continued to be nominated in the Houston Press Awards for three years after the band no longer existed. After Ceili's Muse ended she founded the Celtic rock band SixMileBridge in 1997. The band was a cornerstone of modern Celtic Rock from Milwaukee to Virginia Beach, touring aggressively for four years and rocking festivals nationwide. The Maggie Drennon Band is her newest project and already gathering overwhelming praise.
