A superstar in her native country, Sweden, Lisa Ekdahl has released several "pop" albums in her own language, and three "jazz" style recordings in English. She studied music in college and at age 18 Lisa began singing live with the Peter Nordahl jazz trio in Stockholm. Her self-titled debut album was an instant success, going on to sell over half a million copies. The LP yielded the smash hit single "Vem Vet" and prompted Lisa to win three Swedish Grammy Awards in 1994. EMI. 2005.
