Product Description
Belgian group MINDGAMES has been first known by its promising debut demo in 1999. It now makes a spectacular entry with its first album, "International Daylight" (2002), whose influences are impossible to quote in a whole: YES, MARILLION, PINK FLOYD or RUSH are the main ones, too many others to mention. Its album is carefully structured and worked out, with mid-long pieces and three epics. Its a very sophisticated music, very precisely played, that finds a perfect balance between energy and softness. All players (Including guests on flute, flugelhorn, vibraphone and cello) are brilliant, with clever keyboards and concise guitar soli, not forgetting a good singer. This band learnt all lessons from Progressive rock, and is able to write a new one, full of freshness and sincerity. An excellent debut album !
