About the Artist
Formed in Rockford, Illinois in 1974, Cheap Trick brought arena-scaled flamboyance to the unsigned band circuit, and quickly became the areas biggest local attraction. The band signed with Epic Records in 1976, and released their self-titled debut in February of 1977. The band scored their first multi-platinum selling album with the 1978 release "Live at Budakon". There was no looking back.
Cheap Trick has withstood the trends for nearly 30 years electrifying audiences with such hits as "The Flame", "I Want You to Want Me", "Surrender" and "Don’t Be Cruel". The band also boasts 4 Platinum records, 2 Gold records, 8 Top 40 hits and the Gold Certified home video release "Every Trick in the Book".
