Triple threat singer/songwriter and guitarist Shane Henry puts his best foot forward on Deliverance, staking his claim as one of the next great blues/rock sensations. Deliverance joins Shane Henry with several heavyweights in the game including Double Trouble (Stevie Ray Vaughan's rhythm section featuring Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon) and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Shane says, "I feel so lucky and blessed to work with such amazing people. It's almost too good to be true. I've always been a huge fan of Double Trouble and Stevie (Ray Vaughan) has influenced me like so many other artists. Chris and Tommy made the bass and drum tracks on Deliverance sound amazing. Kenny also did a fine job. He's such a grounded and down to earth person. He was fun to work with."
With the release of Deliverance, Shane Henry is poised for a national breakthrough. But as much as this musical powerhouse from the small Oklahoma town of Verden (population 600), may look forward to a wider audience, for the unassuming Oklahoma country boy, it's all just part of an honest day's work. Shane concludes, "It's crazy how the business works I've been pretty damn lucky so far. This is a really exciting time for me. For once I can say, it's great to be a musician."
