Bring Your Own Poison: The Rhythm Factory Sessions

Editorial Reviews
Product Description
The album is a homage to the past years Bring Your Own Poison gigs taking place at the Rhythm Factory (in London), featuring some of their favorites, like Libertines, Lams, Selfish Cunt, Paddingtons, Art Brut, Babyshambles, Pete Doherty and more. XFM has said 'might as well be called 'The Libertines and Friends', which is fine...whatever. This album proves to be 100% authentic without any of the clean-shaven nonsensical cliques that an over-produced, over-rich record label would have made. The DIY ethics of the Rhythm Factory prevails, being a small independant club, and in the same way that the concerts are often last-minute and rather hectic, this album was released, produced & conceived in any which way - in the space of less than 7 weeks, apart from the recordings (a mix of bootleg's and camcorder recordings) from the past years gigs. Snapper. 2004.
