People either love Bosco or they hate 'em. This French duo churns out funky, catchy, house beats using quirky samples and cheesy Casio-sounding synths. "Satellite," for instance, features either a genius groove or the most annoying Vocorder track ever: Alvin Chipmunk visits le disco. "Hey! Hey! Hey!" is some kind of cheery house hoedown, all jangly guitars and countrified vocals about stock options and start-ups. A tolerance for kitsch will come in handy here. If Fred Schneider from the B-52's intoning "Like the Grand Canyon / Or perhaps the Tour de France / I'm an empty swimming pool / With a nugget in my pants" over an infectious beat sounds like a good time, this is the recording for you. Sure, it's silly, but there's no doubt it'll get your booty shaking. --Mary Park
