Product Description
Between 1984 and 1994, Not Drowning, Waving was responsible for some truly adventurous, boundary-breaking contemporary music. Theirs was an unclassifiable sound that seamlessly merged worldbeat, ambient influences and neo-classical elements with rock and pop. Although the band is no more, its legacy continues in the solo works of David Bridie, and the more acoustically based My Friend the Chocolate Cake. Presenting the long-awaited double CD best of retrospective "Through The One Last Door." One CD is devoted the the instrumental highlights of their career, while the other concentrates on their songs. If you've never before been to the places Not Drowning, Waving went, then there's quite a journey in front of you. Liberation. 2005.
