Mars Electric hail from Birmingham, Alabama. This quartet was formed in 1997 by front man Jacob Bunton under the name Wish. With the addition of drummer Matt Finn, bassist Carl Ray Hopper and guitarist Chris Simmons, it wasnt long before they had major label interest and a debut album Beautiful Something in 2000. Mars Electric spent much of that year touring, sharing the stage with such acts as Stone Temple Pilots, Mötley Crüe, The Scorpions, and Alice Cooper. After returning to Alabama, the band began rehearsing songs for their sophomore album. Then they headed to Chicago and recruited producer Joey Donatello (Michael Jackson) to produce album number two: 2003's Fame Among The Vulgar. The ten tracks span beautiful heartfelt ballads to in-your-face rock n’ roll anthems. Atenzia. 2005.
