THE FOUNDATION, a group made up of ex-TRIBUTE members, recorded "Departure" in 1984. Rather than falling in with the neo Progressive style then very much in vogue, the Swedish band led by keyboards player Johan BELIN played music very much in the vein of the previous decade, using a vast palette of analog sounds and vintage keyboards. The most appropriate comparisons would be CAMEL or the Canterbury school. Not to be missed !
