About the Artist
Portland, Oregon's Kaddisfly has set out to defy the boundaries. Formed in 2000, the band consciously put it's faith in one principal: Intelligent and passionate art will forever remain an unwavering constant. Throughout their career and culminating in this release, they put art, integrity and diversity into a sleek tapestry that blends progressive, aural collages into a rock based concept. Never content with the status quo, the quintet strives to bring meaning from metaphor, and create music unique to themselves. Each song it's own story, they've drawn comparison to everyone from Coheed, Incubus, Quicksand, and Sparta, while remaining uniquely Kaddisfly. For them, the journey is more important than the destination.

The album is a distinct evolution of the bands art: intelligent, passionate and engaging. "Once you listen to KADDISFLY, experience their live show, and see their artwork, it is clear that the band has their own vision rooted in authentic creativity and experience," says Louis Posen, Founder and President of Hopeless Records. "We feel you will be challenged, inspired and moved by their genuine unique view of music and art. Don't let this scare you...if you like punk, indie rock, metal, jam bands, jazz and more...you will love them." The band also just finished filming the video for "New Moon Over Swift Water" which is scheduled for release in this spring. The band-directed clip features high concept haunting imagery, a vivid performance and sub-titles.
