About the Artist
The band consists of five individuals who all reside in the Mid-Michigan area. Kyle "Sherman" Charbeneau and Matt La Victoire (drummer and Bassist, respectively) are the only two original members of the band "Tread" that was formed in the early 1990's. Sticking mainly to the top 40 music, they acquired Scott "Raz" Rezmer (rhythm guitar) and Steve Zielinski (lead guitar) until their eventual break up in 1999. Tired of the cover scene, they set out to create a work of their own. They picked up vocalist Chris McGarvie in late 1999 and all of the pieces were in place for the birth of "Tread Inc.". "Cracks In The Pavement" is an excellent example of what five determined men can accomplish when objectivity and creative thinking are combined without limitation. A second album is currently in progress.
