Fronted by gorgeous pop-nymph Jill Jackson, Speedway are the latest must-hear act from Scotland. Essentially a duo (keyboardist & drummer Jim Duguid co-writes all the songs with Jackson) the band have been augmented by Dan Sells (guitar) & Tom Swann (bass) for their live sound - creating a traditional female-fronted band dynamic that should see them mentioned in the same breathe as the Pretenders & the Eurythmics before too long.
