About the Artist
The Travis Larson Band is comprised of Travis Larson (guitar), Jennifer Young (bass), and Dale Moon (drums). The sound of the band is sometimes that of a stripped-down, aggressive power trio, and sometimes that of a six- or seven-piece ensemble, complete with strings, keyboards and electronic percussion. The band is not afraid of using whatever means necessary to bring the album sounds to the stage, even if it means the bass player playing keyboard parts with her feet, the guitar player doubling his parts with MIDI-assisted strings, or the drummer performing electronic percussion parts along with acoustic drums. Audiophiles love TLB for the attention to sound quality and rich orchestration. Musicians appreciate the intelligent arrangements and the dizzying level of musicianship. And just about anyone with a pulse gets wrapped up in the energy and honesty of the live performances.

Product Description
The Travis Larson Band presents Suspension, its second full-length album. Featuring engaging compositions, inspired performances, and rich, clean production, this CD will appeal to anyone who likes their rock and roll with a little depth. Emotional depth. Intellectual depth. Musical depth. From crushing, up-tempo rock to lyrical, solo guitar, this album touches all of those hard-to-reach places.

With Suspension, TLB displays the expansive range that has become its hallmark. The album's opening cut, "934," is an epic journey with jarring unison runs and soaring melodies. The hook-driven "Full Suspension" is perhaps the CD's most accessible song, with almost a pop sensibility. A raw, passionate cover of the classic "Georgia On My Mind" features a guest appearance and extended introduction by Grammy Award-winning bassist Victor Wooten. "Powerdown" is a twisted, schizophrenic groove-fest. Balancing out the album are powerful, melodic ballads ("Return To Zero," "Aftertouch,") all-out double-bass rockers ("Frantic Manic,") and sensitive acoustic tracks-from the haunting and somber "Touch" to the smooth yet technically breathtaking "Times Like These." Consider also the hypnotic, percussion-tinged "Sandusky Trail;" the relentless, odd-metered "Crosstalk;" and the huge, off-balance swagger of "Squeeze & Shake."

Suspension,Travis Larson Band,Precision Records,Rock/Pop,This one is a real treat for guitar fans; with sharp, aggressive fusion this instrumental trio indulges in controlled, disciplined compositions, with tons of technique to burn.
