FINISTERRE performs an elaborated and whirling Progressive rock, worthy of the best GENESIS and CAMEL. Amongst the numerous candidates to the succession of the Italian School (PREMIATA FORNERIA MARCONI, BANCO DEL MUTUO SOCCORSO...), the band led by bass-player Fabio ZUFFANTI bravely earned their right to sit in this royal court. After two brilliant studio albums and a beautiful live album, "In Ogni Luogo" (1999) shows an interesting evolution: the music becomes feverish, urgent and with omnipresent tension. It also proves to be quite orchestrated and rich of various sounds: flute, violin, saxophone, keyboards, guitars, vocals... Themes are refined and show ethnic and jazz influences. The band can now be compared to PORCUPINE TREE and OZRIC TENTACLES, but still keeps an original personality. Definitely, you cannot miss this !
