This Hawthorne, CA quintet formed a year and a half ago, touring with Pinback, The New Amsterdams, and Polyphonic Spree. The five songs on "Los Arboles" (meaning the trees in Spanish) represent the range and ability that dios (always lowercase) possess as songwriters. The EP ranges from pop-tinged to crunchy rock to melancholic Lennon-esque. For fans of The Beatles, Beach Boys, The Notwist, and Mum.
