Our first two albums (Bumpus and Stereoscope) received rave reviews, but it was hard to capture in a studio the sizzling electricity exchanged between band and audience during a show. People would always come up and say, "We love the albums, but nothing compares to the live show!" We always wanted to make a live record and while we felt the energy was there, the songs were not. Finally, now we feel like we're starting to sound the way we want. We wanted the album to be raw. What you see is what you get.

We've changed a lot in the past year with new members, a bunch of new songs, and a whole different approach to making music. Just have fun! What an idea.

Bumpus Live was recorded at Chicago's famed club Metro earlier this year. It features 12 of the best songs from that show -- 6 new ones, 6 old favorites, and a few surprises. We're ecstatic about the way it turned out and hope you like it too!
