The Mercurial Peter Green Began to Carve Out his Mighty Reputation During 1966, after Replacing Eric Clapton in John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. By the Time He Left Mayall He was Widely Tipped to Become Even Greater Than Clapton, and after Forming Fleetwood Mac in 1967, Both He and Mac Really Took Off. By 1970, Peter was Easily the World’s Outstanding White Blues Guitarist, but Then Following a Breakdown, He Sensationally Quit F.mac And Eventually Went Into Semi-hibernation, Amid Wild Rumours Speculating on his Mental Health. He Quietly Re-emerged in 1978, Signing for the Little-known Pvk Label, for Whom He Would Cut Six Solo Albums - Two of Which, "in the Skies" and "little Dreamer", Made the UK Top 40, Despite their Appearing on a Tiny Indie Label.
