Firebird was born in 1999, the brainchild of guitarist and singer Bill Steer. A far cry from the mayhem he created as a co-founder of Death Metal/Grindcore legends Napalm Death and Carcass, Steer's Firebird is associated with classic, bluesy hard Rock, the kind of music that hasn’t been heard on British soil (or anywhere else, for that matter) since the early seventies.
