When the lead singer of Rage Against The Machine left the band in 2000 the three remaining members vowed to go on without him. Many probably thought that the results could never match the success of the original band but with ex-Soundgarden frontman, Chris Cornell they have created an awesome super-group which leans in a slightly more commercial direction but manages to match much of the sonic ferocity for which both parties were initially known. With the release of their second album, Audioslave are now firmly implanted in modern rock legend.
