This mini-album is the follow-up to 2004's "Nigredo", and the title is a pun that refers to the hatred of man by pairing the terms "man" and "foe". Diary Of Dreams combine melancholy and darkness with a closeness that embraces the unsuspecting listener almost uncomfortably and refuses to let go. "MenschFeind" isn't quiet or peaceful or even mystical--it's the outcry of revolution. A dark and apocalyptic vision that follows "Nigredo" beautifully.
