Growing up is hard to do, especially when your a member of a popular rap group trio. For one, youre faced with the task of tying to assert your individuality while maintaining your role as a team player. For another, the development of other rap groups has demonstrated that is not easy for hormoal young rappers to be taken seriously. However, the members of this young, serious rap group, Boogie B(Brandon Montrell), Critcal (Ivan Butler III) and Big PlayBoi (Christian L. Isom), better know as the Josephine Youngunz have achieved this exact goal.

If it were'nt true, someone would have surely invented this story. The story begins with two cousins, Critical and Jiggaphine, Growing up in uptown New Orleans om Josephine Street. Boogie B and Big PlayBoi were added later. These four youngunz began as a dancing group for Rapper Josephine Johnny. Quickly, they discovered they wanted the spotlight for themselves. "I wanna be the one on stage in front shining. And letting people know what's on my mind through my music" said Big PlayBoi, who calls himself "The SunDance Kid" and "The Chosen One" Shortly after member Jiggaphine moved on to do other things. The Youngunz began touring with HotBoy ronald, Choppa, 5th ward weebie and started to become household names. Then in 2002, after finishing the recording of the album, "Shake It 2 The Floor", tragedy struck.... Big PlayBoi was shot and killed in a New Orleans nightclub. "It's not about us anymore" say's Boogie B., "We're doing thid for my cousin PlayBoi cuz he wanted this, really more than any of us. This is all he ever talked about." Their album, on the recording label STRANDID Entertainment, Has Hip-Hop, R&B, and Bounce flavors and is sure to be a hit......
