L.A. Griff & C.E. Owens are truly gifted and versatile songwriters, composers, and producers. They have extensive background in Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop, working with new up and coming independent artist; These producer/songwriters are passionate about working with talented independent and major label recording artist to help them fulfill their vision. That initial look, smile, and excitement an artist shows after hearing the finished product says it all! Each time L.A. Griff & C.E. Owens work with artists and see that initial reaction they feel very fortunate to be two individuals living out their dreams!

Bio:
L.A. Griff & C.E. Owens met in college where they gained their first experience writing, producing arranging, composing, and recording a three song demo for a male singer by the name of C.J. McKee. The demo was created on a rented 4-track recorder for a local artist showcase sponsored by a Hip Hop/R&B radio station. The radio station selected their artist to be in the showcase and started playing one of their songs in the radio commercial. L.A. Griff & C.E. Owens could not believe their ears! One of their songs on the radio! They were hooked! That solidified their partnership where they formed Dark Circle Music, Inc. and started writing and producing songs for Rap, R&B, and Pop artists.

Soul – (a) The spirit in a person (as opposed to the body). (b) Spirited or animated. It’s that intangible yet undeniable force which oozes from a singer’s voice, personality, body language and style. That special something that transforms the emotions of one person into something every listener can relate to. The ability to captivate listeners with songs from the heart is what makes this singer/songwriter a uniquely gifted and talented artist

D.A.N.C.E. with La La Jones – A soulful spirit is how you would best describe this songbird from the south. La La Jones is a versatile R&B/Pop singer/songwriter blessed with a voice with unlimited range, La La Jones is now ready to sing and write her way into the minds and hearts of everyone who listens to her music. For the past few years, she has been performing in the Dallas area growing her fan base one fan at a time. She has appeared on Suave’ Dre’s album and has performed at such Dallas venues such as Club Phenomenon, Sankofa, Reciprocity, MLK Center, and many others. This up-and-comer explains "I use lyrics, my voice, and soul to speak to the community in a positive and uplifting way!"

Being a child of the hip-hop generation, La La’s first choice on the pathway to stardom wasn’t singing. Rapping was how she expressed herself and developed her talent for writing. As time went on, her artistic abilities started to blossom and the singing voice she used sparingly started to develop into something special. La La Jones’ musical influences range from Patti Labelle, Mary J Blige, Lauren Hill, Ce Ce Peniston, Missy Elliott, TLC, Jill Scott, Lil’ Kim to Outkast and Common. She writes songs about everything from partying, finding a good man, getting rid of a bad one, to inspirational uplifting experiences. These songs are from her spirit; songs that touch the souls and hearts of listeners.
