Product Description
Featuring The Lonely Orchestra, Lazyboyz and Rapscallion, this compilation of groovy downbeat/modern lounge jams is luring and original. This CD contains some of the most cunningly crafted downtempo tracks I've heard in years. It's the type of music that you'll forget you're listening to, yet find yourself bobbing or nodding in your chair. The funk is truly infectious. From organic cuts that have the groove of a 70's dancer, to laidback nu-electro synth heavy tracks, this compilation could have come about if Curtis Mayfield and Kraftwerk had progressed to the modern day and gotten some new gear.
Perhaps that's going a bit far? Perhaps not. Either way, hats off to George St. Pierre and Shih-hua Wu who produced the bulk of the music on this sampler.
Trying to find this compilation? Good luck. Better off getting on their mailing list: organicworks@nerdos.com.
