About the Artist
In the mid through late 90's, two bands reaped the rewards of multiple major and indie label releases. The Bogmen, with their exotic breed of art rock, reached nearly all levels of exposure from commercial radio to MTV, selling out venues across the country, while indie-punks Garden Variety tore up the underground, charting high in CMJ, and receiving glowing reviews in the national Indie press. But that was last century.
"Someone call the future and tell 'em I'm coming" - Vic Thrill
Fast Forward to 2000. Both The Bogmen and Garden Variety are no more, but the creative forces behind each dwell in Williamsburg, Brooklyn -- a town that has become the epicenter of all things creative in New York City. The two camps fused their distinctive styles in the electronic realm, mutating into an electronic circus of sound in support of musical ringleader Vic Thrill.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered over the course of three months at The Vic Thrill Salon, a retrofitted gas station and now recording studio. The music is a mish mash of several genres: dance, punk, various ethnic traditions, psychedelic, traditional religious - the entire spectrum of their influences up to this point conceived in a high state of musical bliss.

Product Description
Vic Thrill is a super freak born out of the bowels of the music industry. The band was founded by former members of the Bogmen and Garden Variety, both were successful touring bands in the old millennium. After the demise of both bands, with much unfinished business, the two camps fused their exotic alternative and indie punk in the electronic realm. The music is often described as "electro-trash." The live show ranges from full-on multimedia, electronic circus extravaganzas to trashy basement gigs.
The vibe is fast and furious positivity. This is the CD that will stay in your stereo for weeks.
Vic Thrill's CD, "CE-5," produced by Robbie Adams (U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Rollerskate Skinny, Bogmen) is the bands first full length DIY release on Circus Clone Records. "CE-5" (Close Encounters of the 5th Kind, see liner notes) delivers a sonic shout out to the far reaches of the universe, and soon there will be an answer.
CE-5,Thomas Pace,Break-Neck-Speed-Records,Comptemporary protest songs delivered in a 1960's style.
