About the Artist
For many years, the name John Skinner has been synonymous with great music in Northern California. The Sacramento trumpet player has led successful bands since he was a teenager. He has performed in groups worldwide and provided orchestras for such legends as Ray Charles, Luciano Pavarotti, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis and many others. But as leader and principal trumpet for his own groups, Skinner has won the hearts of dancers all over America.
