Product Description
The German label Kitty-Yo presents its first soundtrack! The film Alaska.de depicts the dreams, search for orientation and sometimes violence of the post-'wall'-generation in the ghettos of East Berlin. The film could be described as something between 'Trainspotting' and 'La Haine'. Featuring rare material from acts such as Gonzales, Laub (remixed by Ninja Tune's Clifford Gilberto) as well as new upcoming artists on Kitty-Yo in 2001. The first CD includes all soundtrack material, the second is the score, composed, arranged and played by the current drummer of Einsturzende Neubauten, Rudi Moser. Slimline jewel case. 2001 release.
