The Multi±Format support enables end-users to create disks for play-back in virtually all DVD video players and DVD-ROM drives with no compromise in performance. The USB 2.0 connection delivers a very fast 480Mbs. and downward compatible with USB 1.1. With 8 drives in one, the drive supports DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD-R formats - and enables PC users to create DVD discs that can be played on virtually any DVD video player or drive. It writes to DVD+R discs at 8x; to DVD-R at 4x; to CD-R at 40x; and to CD-RW at 24x speeds. It reads DVD+RW, DVD+R, DVD-RW and DVD-R formats at 8X, DVD-ROM at 12x and CD-ROM at 40x speeds.
