This full communications device lets you stay connected in a variety of ways without giving up speed and extra features. The V206 has two displays—an external LCD to show caller ID and an internal 128-x-160-pixel, 65,000-color TFD screen to host amazing color photos and Web browsing. An easy-to-grasp four-way navigational key makes scrolling through menus a breeze and two other centralized buttons on the keypad take you directly to either the Web or the integrated camera functions.

The V206’s GSM/GPRS protocol operates globally where service is available and hosts a fast and constant Web connection via the mMode button located in the middle of the navigational key. In addition to Internet access, mMode also gets you right to your email, instant messaging, or music options and lets you download polyphonic ring tones, images, and games to your phone. The V206 supports Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS) so you can send pictures with text or text messages with animation and sound. The V206 also sports a built-in digital camera, which takes photos using a variety of lighting options. You can store up to 100 photos at a time on the phone, display them either in full-screen or thumbnail view, and send them wirelessly to friends and family.

The V206’s PDA features let you stay organized while on the go with an address book, calendar, calculator, to-do list, and currency converter. For fun, three games--X-Flighter, SpaceWar and MyPet—offer a healthy diversion from work-related activities. The phone features on the V206 include 20 pre-loaded polyphonic ring tones; pause dialing for automating voice commands; call waiting; call forwarding; multi-party calling with up to five callers; auto redial; key answer function; and call logs for 20 previous ingoing, outgoing, and missed calls. A large 500-entry phone book holds plenty of contacts with the possibility of entering 250 more with an additional SIM card. Talk time on this phone is rated at up to 7.9 hours, and standby time is up to 195 hours.
