Like other Nextel phones, the i265 is built tough for construction and utilities industry users, or for anyone who needs a rugged wireless phone. The i265's candybar design features a brilliant 1.5-inch, 65,000-color LCD that displays time, call information, battery and signal strength, emails, address book entries, wireless web content and more. Direct Connect and menu scrolling functions can be controlled from the side of the phone, and a standard 2.5mm headset jack is also provided.
The i265's built-in address book can store multiple entries per contact for quick and easy management of phone numbers and email addresses. Meanwhile, a recent calls list allows you to access recent sent and received calls for quick call return or number storage. You can also use the phone's enhanced voice dialing function to speak numbers to the phone for handsfree calling. Finally, the phone comes with built-in ringtones plus a vibrating alert, and more ringtones can be downloaded from Nextel's optional wireless download service, Nextel Online.
