A sleek, stylish LCD monitor from Planar, the PE1900 delivers a full 19 inches of screen real estate and comes with some very useful features. The quality of your onscreen image is assured with a 1,280 x 1,024 maximum resolution and 0.294 mm pitch, while a high 500:1 contrast ratio and 250 cd/m2 deliver easy-to-see graphics and text in a variety of viewing environments.
Ultra-wide 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles make it easy to watch movies with the whole family or to display multimedia presentations at work. With a 25 ms response time, motion graphics and video are displayed with reasonable smoothness, while an anti-glare screen coating helps cut down on harmful reflections and eye fatigue.
The PE1900 supports standard analog inputs via a 15-pin mini D-sub input and is plug-and-play compatible, so setup is quick and painless. The monitor has a small 15.87-by-7.56-inch footprint, much less than a comparable CRT monitor, and can also be wall-mounted for extra convenience. Compatible with both PC and Mac operating systems (a Mac adapter may be required), the PE1900 comes backed with a three-year limited warranty.
