With a small 14.8-by-7.9-inch footprint, the F-417 fits easily onto any convenient surface and is also wall mountable, freeing up desktop space completely. 160-degree horizontal and 130-degree vertical viewing angles provide a decent range of visual clarity, while the hard coating (3H), anti-glare, and anti-static screen treatment helps cut back on harmful reflections and the resulting eye-strain. With the onscreen controls, you can adjust a variety of monitor settings, including brightness, contrast, H/V position, H/V size, and color temperature.

Neovo - Good Buy.......2007-03-19

I purchased this to match the monitors on an industrail measuring device from Germany. Monitor matched and performed exceptional. Highly recommended.

Not worth the cost.......2006-11-27

I bought this monitor for my husband to replace his old CRT monitor in October 2005. While he's been quite pleased with it for a year, now it's useless because the OSD menu has appeared in the middle of the screen and won't go away. It just cycles through the options without end.

I've tried pushing the buttons on the front of the monitor, rebooting, installing new display and monitor drivers...But as soon as the computer is turned on, the OSD menu appears. This leaves the entire middle of the screen unreadable, as the OSD stays on top all the time.

After some lengthy researching online I turned up two other people who have had the same problem with the F-417, but with no resolution offered.

The Neovo site provides a contact support form -- which doesn't display properly. There's a toll free number to call, which urges you to leave your phone number or your email address. I've read on other sites that usually there is no response if you do these things, which isn't surprising as the message implies their "tech support" is manned by ONE PERSON.

Bottom line: I paid $235.00 for this monitor which lasted a year. If you've got that kind of money to waste, more power to you. But I'll be avoiding Neovo products from now on.

This is real flat LCD, easy to instal and use instantly. The screen images and desktop look sharp and clear!

Good Monitor, Value Price.......2004-08-13

Very good monitor and very reasonably priced. There may be better monitors indeed, but this one delivers. On close inspection of details, it is a little bit plasticose, and cables are 2nd quality, but compensates with great image. I have an Apple display on my G4 and compared it falls slightly short, but for price and general use, I highly recomend it.
