It?s have a great look on my desk, the image is so clear, no dead pixels, have excellent perfomance in any king game, fps, simulation games (flight simulators, etc), to watch dvd original movies is perfect. I recommend this monitor for anyone who likes a great monitor.

This is the best monitor I have ever had. I compare it in clarity to Sony. Who knows, maybe the internal components are identical.

I received mine about a week ago, (they're going fast!!) Believe me, if your out looking for a TFT, look no further. This thing is beautiful, it's very bright and the colors vibrant. It's got .26 dpi, <25ms response time, DVI & Analog. (You can switch between two displays.) Watching DVD's is a wonderful experience on the 172T. I received it in perfect condition, no dead pixels. This is my very first TFT and I wanted to get something worth all the money. Stop comparing and get this one!!!

A question........2002-11-15

My husband has bought the screen SyncMaster 172B LCD 17" today so my rate of this product is only formal. My question is: has this screen been designed also by Porsche as is the model 171P TFT? Just matter of curiosity because we love that skinny screen anyway.
