System Requirements:
Known as "The Man In Black," Johnny Cash was the dark heart of country music personified. Beginning his career on the legendary Sun record label, Cash was a stoically unsentimental performer who filled his songs with images of death and personal tragedy. His gravel-like vocals were unprecedented in the genre, and musically he often branched out to incorporate folk, rock and gospel influences into his style. His marriage to fellow musician June Carter proved a fruitful partnership both musically and personally, and Carter was responsible for writing "Ring of Fire," perhaps Cash's best known song. Johnny made sure he went to the grave with impeccable musical credentials, and his later years saw him collaborate with a host of contemporary hipsters such as Nick Cave, Will Oldham, and, most notably, producer Rick Rubin. This release sees him performing some of his most popular tunes, and stands as a fine testimony to his many talents.

Johnnycashsinginghisbest.......2005-11-03
This was a complete rip-off.Poor quality material.People do not buy this.I was so sorely disappointed.
RIP OFF.......2005-04-05
Don't waste your money of this DVD. This is a cross between the Town Hall Party and the Anthology DVD. Don't fall for this cheap, worthless piece of garbage and buy the other Johnny Cash DVDs available.
Disappointed.......2004-12-07
I had already purchased JOHNNY CASH AT TOWN HALL PARTY and JOHNNY CASH THE ANTHOLOGY.
This DVD was taken from both of them. The only song was diffrent was the last song.
I was hoping to see something different. Not a copy of what I had already purchased on other DVD's.
Buy Town Hall Party 1958-59.......2004-11-23
This DVD is 3 tracks that aren't already on the Bear Family Records Johnny Cash At Town Hall Party DVD. Also, This DVD only has half of the concert footage from 1958 and 1959 that the Bear Family Records DVD has. Do not buy this DVD unless you are a serious collector who needs those 3 tracks, one was actually a song I'd never heard before: "God Has My Fortune Laid Away." Not a good DVD purchase, especially when compared to The Town Hall DVD. Amazon.com should be ashamed for carrying this DVD, had I only waited for them to provide details before I pre-ordered it a month ago...
Disappointing.......2004-11-19
As a Johnny Cash-collector, I was looking forward to this DVD. Unfortunately, I was disappointed when first viewing it as it is a kind of copy and collection of other DVDs on the market. Most of its tracks are based on a release of Bear Family Records, Germany, titled 'At Town Hall Party 1958-59'. On the cover there's a notice 'This production is not authorized or endorsed by the estate of Johnny Cash'.
However, if you don't own the DVD mentioned above, you will most likely like it.
