Starring:John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Studio: Hybrid (Red)
Product Type: DVD
Editorial Review:
Description
It was a night when the legends played, when English Blues met Chicago & Memphis Blues, and something magical happened.
One hot night in June 1982 at New Jersey's Capitol Theater, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, featuring Mick Taylor (Rolling Stones) on lead guitar, John McVie (Fleetwood Mac) on bass, and Colin Allen (of Rod Stewart's band) on drums, paid homage to and were joined by five blues immortals: Albert King, Etta James, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, and the 83-year-old Sippie Wallace. Each of the blues greats were backed by the Bluesbreakers, resulting in some amazing musical moments. Awesome is the only word to describe the guitar jams among Albert King, Buddy Guy, and Mick Taylor.
Now audiences can enjoy every moment of greatness from that special night when the Bluesbreakers were joined by the blues makers. The night the legends came out to play.
Features:
~John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers: An Eye For An Eye, My Time After Awhile, The Dark Side Of Midnight, Room To Move
~Etta James: Baby, What You Want Me To Do
~Buddy Guy and Junior Wells: Messin' With The Kid, Don't Start Me Talkin'
~Sippie Wallace: Shorty George
~Albert King: Why Are You So Mean To Me?, Born Under A Bad Sign, Call It Stormy Monday
~Everyone: C.C. Rider Jam

Remember back in the early 1980s when special-effects makeup artists were tripping over themselves to create the next big effect? The Howling boasted a fantastic werewolf transformation scene courtesy of makeup wizard Rob Bottin. Then along came Bottin's mentor, Rick Baker, with his own spectacular effects in this popular horror comedy directed by John Landis. An American Werewolf in London is more of a makeup showcase than a truly satisfying movie, but the film is effectively moody when David Naughton discovers that a wolf attack has turned him into a bloodthirsty lycanthrope. Jenny Agutter plays his love interest (watch out, he bites!), and who can forget Griffin Dunne as Naughton's best friend, an undead corpse who progressively rots away as the plot unfolds? All things considered, it's easy to see why An American Werewolf in London became a modern horror favorite. --Jeff Shannon
Customer Reviews:
The best Werewolf.......2007-05-13
For a longtime this was my favourite film of all time, its not anymore, but it is still a genuine classic film, that deserves a place amongst the greatest horror films ever made.
The reasons for this are threefold:
Firstly the special effects by Rick Baker are amazing. Remember this was made 25 years ago, there was no digital effects then, what you see on the screen was either done with make-up or animatronic puppets. Rick Baker won an Oscar for his work on this film in 1982.
Secondly the blend of horror and comedy. If you watch the extras you will hear the director Jon Landis state that the film is not a comedy, although he admits it is funny. Some of the scenes are very funny and this comedy, sometimes black comedy works really well against the horror in the rest of the film. The horror in this film is brilliantly done with the double nightmare sequence being a particular favourite of mine.
Thirdly of course its a love story. The ending to the film is ultimately all about the love story, but once again John Landis confuses our emotions by immediately playing The Marcels great version of Blue Moon over the end credits.
The scene in the Slaughtered Lamb is a direct reference to the multitude of classic Hammer Films that featured a Pub that went silent went our hero entered it. You will spot quite a few well known faces in the Slaughtered Lamb including a fresh-faced looking Rik Mayall.
The extras on this edition are pretty good, with both Rick Baker and Jon Landis having some interesting things to say. Perhaps the most surprising was that Jon Landis wrote the script for this film in 1969. There's also some fascinating stuff on how Rick Baker created the amazing special effects.
Beware of the moon.
Excellent film, and not just for special effects.......2007-03-24
When people talk about this film, many speak of the classic transformation scene. Yes, it was an amazing achievement of special effects. Don't let that distract you, however, from the fact that this was a highly intelligent take on the werewolf genre. David Naughton is excellent as the american student come werewolf, and Griffin Dunne almost steals the movie as the gradually decomposing, but generally pleasant, corpse who continually reappears to his friend. There are classic campy jokes (e.g., when David tries to get arrested as a form of protecting others from his werewolf alter ego) as well as real drama, and an excellent supporting cast. Stay off the moors!
Darkly funny; you'll howl with laughter *wince*.......2007-03-11
OK, I couldn't resist that pun . . .
That said, I have loved this movie for years. Two American boys are hiking across England when they end up at a mysterious inn on a full moon night. Despite warnings, they decide to keep going and get lost on the moors. One is horribly killed (this is a gory, gruesome movie - not for the faint-hearted!) and the other . . . survives. Once he awakens from his coma, he moves in with his sexy nurse and begins to see the badly decomposing corpse of his friend following him around, telling him to kill himself before it is too late. As the bodies pile up, the corpses following him around become quite a group (this is the darkly funny part - I love the dead people - yeah, I'm a sick ******)
Like all traditional werewolf movies, this one ends badly (as in sadly); I always feel SO sorry for werewolves - they have a terrible lot in life. But it is a true classic of the werewolf genre, one I highly recommend to anyone who loves horror, werewolves, monster movies and dark humor.
A masterpiece.......2007-02-12
All these years later and it still holds up to this day. John Landis crafted a comedic and horiffic classic with An American Werewolf in London in 1981, forever changing the way werewolf movies, and possibly horror movies in general, are made. The story, if you don't know it by now, finds an American student (David Naughton) surviving a werewolf attack in England. Things get much worse though when he starts seeing his dead friend (Griffin Dunne) informing him to kill himself before the next full moon. Loaded with sharp humor, incredible script work and directing (Landis has never done better), and superb makeup effects by industry legend Rick Baker (many of which still hold up today), An American Werewolf in London is an all time classic that deserves it's legendary status. With a great assortment of DVD extras, and at this cheap price, picking this up is a steal, and it's a crime if you're a horror fan and it's not already part of your collection.
VERY INTERESTING.......2007-02-09
From the beginning to the end was excellent. The music played throughout the movie wasnt scary but funny in a scary twisted way. I think it is a great movie

Both a classic documentary and a vital pop-cultural artifact, D.A. Pennebaker's portrait of Bob Dylan captures the seminal singer-songwriter on the cusp of his transformation from folk prophet to rock trendsetter. Shot during Dylan's 1965 British concert tour, Don't Look Back employs an edgy vérité style that was, and is, a snug fit with the artist's own consciously rough-hewn persona. Its handheld black-and-white images and often-gritty London backdrops suggest cinematic extensions of the archetypal monochrome portraits that graced Dylan's career-making early-'60s album jackets.
Pennebaker's access to the legendarily private troubadour enables us to witness Dylan's shifting moods as he performs, relaxes with his entourage (including then lover Joan Baez, road manager Bob Neuwirth, and poker-faced manager Albert Grossman), and jousts with other musicians (notably Animals alumnus Alan Price and Scottish folksinger Donovan), fans, and press. It's a measurement of the filmmaker's acuity that the conversations are often as gripping as Dylan's solo performances. Grossman's machinations with British promoters, Baez's hip serenity, a grizzled British journalist's surrender to the fact of Dylan's artistry, and the artist's own taunting dismissal of a clueless sycophant are all absorbing.
With the exception of the studio recording of "Subterranean Homesick Blues," the live performances (including five newly restored, complete audio tracks excised from the original film but included on the DVD version) are constrained by crude audio gear. Their urgency, however, is timeless, as is Pennebaker's film, a legitimate cornerstone for any serious rock video collection. --Sam Sutherland

Customer Reviews:
It all stays good.......2007-05-28
I first saw this film as part of the Vancouver Film Festival one summer evening in the late sixties. It engrossed me then and in its VHS form and in this new double cd release. What's great about this issue is the "out takes" have been reworked into a companion piece that accompanies the original release in this package. The commentaries supplied by D.A. Pennebaker and Bob Nieuwerth are fun and insightful. I loved it. and can't wait for someone to do a similar treatment to "Eat The Document", Dylan's tour with the Hawks a year and a bit later.
Don't look Back.......2007-05-24
I always wanted to have this film; and now it's even better. It was a movie that was only seen by a few; now it can be seen by everyone. Thanx for having it.
Finally the complete songs.......2007-05-21
I waited for so long for them to add the rest of the songs on
this great documentary. It is hard to imagine them making this
documentary any better than it was, but they did. Thank you.
It's the Bob.......2007-05-15
What can he say? Where else can he go? Any damn place he wants to. This is great stuff showing exactly why Bob Dylan stands well above any other popular culture figure of the 20th century.
The Definitive Version of the Definitive Documentary.......2007-05-08
Bob Dylan - Don't Look Back (1965 Tour Deluxe Edition)
This is a must have for all fans of Bob Dylan. The paperback and flipbook are welcome added additions. Worth the price and highly recommended.

Now audiences can enjoy every moment of greatness from that special night when the Bluesbreakers were joined by the blues makers. The night the legends came out to play.

Blues Jamming at it best.......2007-05-13
This is a great DVD for blues lovers. The guitar solos played by Mick Taylor alone are worth the price of the DVD. I had never heard of Sippy Wallace but at 80 plus years old she sure does a fantastic job singing the blues. Mayall and the blues breakers bought the house down.
Evening with the Greats.......2007-01-19
A terrific opportunity to see numerous blues greats organized by an energetic and cheerful John Mayall. Super playing and teamwork, a fantastic buy at this price; real piece of history.
Watch the Blues Greats jam with the Bluesbreakers.......2006-03-01
If you love Mick Taylor, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, & Albert King you will enjoy this show. I hope all blues-guitar fans will check this one out. If the song choices were better I would have given it five stars.
Get This For The Best Albert King Sound Available.......2005-04-16
This DVD is now available again after years of being out-of-print. Originally it was VHS tape that was available in the Mid-Eighties. That version did not contain the Jam at the end or Albert King's "Born Under A Bad Sign". During the 90s it reappeared as a full-lenght VHS tape with all tracks present, however, if you live in Australia as I do, it was in NTSC and not available in PAL (I paid $50 in 1997 to get it changed over! Before the technology revolution in TVs). I was able to get the first DVD copy of this work from the UK in 2001 and it is now deleted. This copy is a treasure and what a price!!!!! You should buy two just in case one gets worn out playing Albert King's segment!
OK, the previous reviews are great and I agree with most of what they say. John Mayall was and is a great promoter of the Blues. This concert was in a way a Jam Session (as the name implies) and a chance to give the Blues a kick start in the days just prior to the emergence of the dynamic SRV. It was 1982 and most Blues acts were stagnant-most people were listening to the 1980s New British Pop-Soul Invasion, Billy Joel and so on, enough said.
This set has its ups and downs but the HIGHLIGHT is Albert King. As I have said in my many reviews of his work, material on him is very scarce. Even now, this is much better than the DVD released last year "Live In Sweden"- the sound is better, his guitar has no 1970s phaser on it, the guitar is mixed up front, his singing is at its best and he's not grumpy!!! The other DVD of Albert is "Godfather of the Blues". He has a good sound, but he's 69 years old and the band is very mediocre (Except "Dave Jefferson" on drums). The very rare "Maintenance Shop Blues" tape (can you still get it at all??) he has a good band with horns, it's in this period around the middle 1980s, but his guitar is super phaser driven and not out front.
If they ever release "A Blues Session" (well they just re-released "A Rockabilly Session" with Carl Perkins in the same series!!!) Albert has his second best video exposure, with SRV and Paul Butterfield doing "The Sky Is Crying").
Now to be able to get this DVD with Albert in top form and bassist Frank Dunbar, who played with Albert through the mid-1980s until he got a newer band with the fabluous Jimmy King on second guitar, for only ten bucks is the all time Albert King bargain available- I now own two of the tapes and four of the DVDs!!
About the players. The Bluesbreakers with Mick Taylor and John McVie are great. Taylor's big Marshall sound and great slide playing prevail. I think the best tunes are Buddy Guy's "My Time After A While" and "The Dark Side of Midnight" with Taylor's great playing with a Wah-wah and a Les Paul. Sippie Wallace is super for 83 (she died the year after this concert) you may want to see a younger Sippie caught in the American Folk Blues Festival (Vol. 1) worth seeing! Buddy and Junior Wells are their usual selves. Although Buddy is really not up to scratch with the old Guild he played between Stratocasters. His sound is pretty thin and does not suit his fast playing. This mix is also not the best. Etta James is Etta James, a great Blues singer, but she should have done different material-she did Jimmy Reed's "Baby What You Want Me To Do" (A curious song that actually never refers to the title-Reed was drunk at the time (as usual) and couldn't name the tune he had written with his wife and Eddie Taylor). Etta performed this on about every TV performance she did in the 1980s.(eg-B.B.King, Joe Walsh's special, etc.)
Overall this show belongs to the late great Albert King. Albert never got the credit or recognition he deserved in his lifetime, except from guitar players and die hard blues lovers. Perhaps the re-release of this material will spark some well overdue interest in Mr King. Most guitar players who play blues have to include some of B.B. King's style in their lick dictionary (Guy, Little Milton, Freddie King, Clapton, etc.). However, Albert King never did, once!!! He is the most original blues guitar stylist. Hear him on this DVD. He is the best, the King of soulful bending!
Historical event at a nice price.......2005-04-13
This is a great low priced Dvd containing John Mayall and some blues history from 1982. The 80's were some of the hardest times for artists that saw their prime at the begining of the 70's. On this Dvd John Mayall performs a concert with the likes of Etta James, Buddy Guy & Junior Wells, Sippie Wallace, and Albert King. It's cool to see Mayall bumpin elbows with John McVie, and Mick Taylor again. Although Mick seems to have a very Stones esq attitude towards the special guests, and can't seem to play a song without smoking a cigarette. But otherwise ego's seemed to be checked at the door. I'm pretty sure Mayall is content with playing along with his idols. He always seems to thank his idols one way or another during live shows. Also his attidude has changed a bit since the 1972 album "Jazz Blues Fusion." In between songs the audience yells out requests for "Room to Move" and John replies "Did you come to see a concert or hear a record?" But at the end of the set on the DVD John says "What would a concert be without a little "Room to Move."" So it is good to see he has embraced playing some nostalgia rather than banging out new tunes. I saw John perform at a club in Buffalo NY about a year ago. I was floored when I got to meet him and he signed his 70th birthday DVD for me and I thanked him for introducing me to the blues. John is a very nice guy and played an excellent set. But I'm getting off track. This DVD contains some great performances by blues greats who I'm sure you'd be hard pressed (they are out there but it'll take some research) to find on DVD anywhere else other than here. Buddy Guy and Junior Wells are an awesome duo on stage. You can see the obvious BB King influences in Buddy's playing. Junior can honk a serious harp too. The Albert King set is awesome. The guy plays guitar left handed eventhough it is strung right handed, its pretty cool to see. Etta James and Sippie Wallace both do very good singing although I've never been a fan of women singing the blues. The C.C. Rider Jam is awesome as well with everyone having a chance to shine. For the price its hard to beat this DVD. Seeing blues greats that usually don't get as much credit as they should on stage is really cool. If you are a John Mayall fan or just a fan of the blues you should get this. But if you are a blues fan you probably already have it.

John Mayall's DVD.......2007-04-03
I am an vinyl collector with a wide slice of music history. I was a little worried about if he would be at his best on this DVD as he has had numerous lineups in his career, most were very good but some were not. This DVD is beyond very good since for the most part it is a "jam" of excellent talent. So much of music heard is "singer/star dominated "songs", but on this DVD this great bandleader gives everyone a chance to come alive.
Too good to give away.......2007-01-16
I purchased this dvd as a Xmas gift for my sister, who grew up loving John Mayall et al, but it was so outstanding we couldn't bear to part with it. Sorry, Jan.
Double Your Pleasure.......2005-09-20
If there ever was an "essential" John Mayall DVD, then the 70th Birthday Concert (Collector's Edition) has to be it. When I threw this in for the first time after it arrived, I sat transfixed as I took in the spectacular extravaganza that Mayall's birthday occasioned. Not only is his current lineup on hand, but a couple of alumni from past incarnations of the Bluesbreakers join in to make this DVD one to remember.
For me, the highlights are Southside Story, Dirty Water, Blues For The Lost Days, Walking On Sunset, Oh Pretty Woman, Hideaway, All Your Love, Have You Heard, and I'm Tore Down.
Eric Clapton and Mick Taylor return to contribute some guitar pyrotechnics, but long-time Mayall guitarist Buddy Whittington more than holds his own. Joe Yuele shows the world why he has been Mayall's drummer for so many years with his faultless play and Tom Canning turns in inspired performances on organ and piano. And what about Mayall himself? Well, he can play so many instruments and with such virtuosity, its hard to say what he's best at. The songs covered range from ones originally done in the sixties to some recorded in the last five years. The way everything came together so seamlessly, you'd think these guys had rehearsed this for months!
I recommend the Collector's Edition over the straight DVD. For a couple bucks extra, you double your pleasure. With the Collector's Edition, you get an abbreviated version of the concert on CD that you can listen to anytime you can't get to your big screen. It makes great cruising music. My favorites on the CD are Dirty Water, Walking On Sunset, Hideaway, Have You Heard, plus a real bonus that isn't on the concert DVD; a fine rendition of California
This is going to remain high in my rotation at home and on the road for months. If you like the music of John Mayall, then you should be thrilled by the way it comes alive here. Order it now!
a real sleeper.......2004-11-15

Product Description
When acclaimed documentary filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker (Monterey Pop, the War Room) filmed Bob Dylan during a three week concert tour of England in the Spring of 1965, he had no idea he was about to create one of the most intimate profiles of the musician ever put on film. Wanting to make more than just a concert film, Pennebaker sought both the public and private Bob Dylan. With unobtrusive equipment and rare access to the performer, he achieved a fly-on-the-wall glimpse of one of music s most influential figures.
Hailed as one of the best documentaries about a performing artist ever created, Don t Look Back is more than a view of an extraordinary concert tour - Bob Dylan s last as a solo acoustic performer. It s a portrait of the young Dylan tearing the pop world apart! (S.F. Examiner)

I first saw this film as part of the Vancouver Film Festival one summer evening in the late sixties. It engrossed me then and in its VHS form and in this new double cd release. Pennebaker and Bob Nieuwerth are fun and insightful. I loved it. and can't wait for someone to do a similar treatment to "Eat The Document", Dylan's tour with the Hawks a year and a bit later.

Not all that many blues musicians (or any other kind, for that matter) live to 70, so British bandleader John Mayall had good reason to celebrate when he reached that milestone in 2003--and celebrate he did, with the admirable, 137-minute John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers: 70th Birthday Concert to show for it. Mayall, a capable if not exactly stellar singer and multi-instrumentalist, is best known for the many fine players who passed through his band over the years, and Eric Clapton, the most renowned of the lot, is on hand here, as is former Mayall/Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor. Clapton sings several tunes in addition to playing his trademark stinging solos on "Hideaway" and "All Your Love" (two of the tunes most responsible for the "Clapton is God" graffiti seen around London in the '60s), while Taylor is mostly impressive as well. But arguably the best guitarist on the Liverpool stage this night is current Bluesbreaker Buddy Whittington, who more than holds his own in the company of his more esteemed predecessors (check out Whittington's superb solos, informed by both Buddy Guy and jazz, on "Blues for the Lost Days" and the 17-minute "Have You Heard"). Indeed, this may well be Mayall's best and most versatile band ever--no mean feat for a guy now in his fifth decade on the scene. A Mayall interview is the disc's sole bonus feature. --Sam Graham

Mayall's guitarists slug it out.......2007-02-19
Clapton was always going to be the ace card in this show and his presence is arguably the most compelling reason people will want to hear this concert. It is ironic that resident Bluesbreaker Buddy Whittington smokes him on the territory that Clapton pioneered. Clapton is like the Stradivarius of blues guitarists - once upon a time he was so good at what he did that people have become blinded to the possibility he may no longer deserve his reputation.
Mick Taylor is the first guest onstage, and starts off with some nice understated playing - which is exactly where he stays. He seems oblivious to Buddy tearing up the other side of the stage, and although his lines are solid he appears at times to be searching for inspiration. Clapton follows him on halfway through the set and plays with a calculated air. If Taylor tries and fails to reach the depths within then Clapton flatly refuses to do so. He finally rises to the occasion on "Have You Heard", earning a standing ovation for a performance that Whittington bested at least half-a-dozen times during the show to far less acclaim. The dichotomy between the old guitar heroes and the only-slightly-younger unknown illustrates the divide that plagues the blues today: whether the blues is best represented by the form of the music or the spirit of the music. For my money, Buddy's was the more persuasive argument.
Some have complained about Mayall's harmonica playing, but being a harp player myself I found Mayall's performance very honest and unadorned by cliche - no small achievement given the quirks of this instrument. That is not to say that Mayall is more than a journeyman (at best) on the harp, but it illustrates his awareness of his own limitations as well as his sensitivity and taste. If it doesn't sound like Little Walter, well, that puts Mayall on Whittington's side of the argument above. Mayall was never a hack and this is why he can continue to surround himself with stellar musicians.
Extremely Enjoyable Blues.......2007-01-19
I remember listening to Mayall's live version of "Room to Move" playing over and over in the dorms in college, and loved it back then. When I saw that Clapton guests on the DVD, I was motivated to buy it. I am not a diehard fan of Mr. Mayall, but having watched the DVD a few times, I more fully appreciate him and his music. The quality of the video and audio are just fine, and they lose nothing on a big screen TV with the volume cranked (is there any other way to watch music DVD's?). Mick Taylor is "eh," and Clapton disappointingly plays the same-old same-old; nothing new or exciting there. He blends in with the band, not wanting to take the spotlight from Mr. Mayall (classy move, that). The Bluesbreakers are excellent, and at least watching this video, Clapton has nothing over the flying fingers of guitarist Buddy Whittington. Enjoy it.
John Mayall at 70........2006-02-27
Brilliant! It took me back 30 years.I will watch this dvd over&over again.
Pinnacle Of British Blues .......2006-02-13
Anyone who is a fan of Mayall's music or the 60's & 70's British Blues Scene (Yardbirds, Ten Years After, Fleetwood Mac, Savoy Brown etc...) will find this dvd to be "white boy blues" nirvana (for the uninitiated, before you get on my case about the previous term "white boy blues", enter it in the music search box and see what comes up, okay?). Seeing Clapton & Taylor on the same stage is pure magic. Eric must feel the need to show he's still got the "slowhand", because his playing here is 10 times better than any of his recent, more commercial albums (unfortunately Clapton's guitar is buried in the mix of several songs). The guitar playing on this dvd also reminds me of the "guitar battle" scene from the movie "Crossroads". The players just don't sit back and go through the motions (even Eric), they rip away with abandon and a sense of real competition. Not necessarily trying to upstage one another, but to show each other they mean business and have killer chops too. My favorite moment is during the solos of "Blues For The Lost Days".
Buddy Whittingham rips off a solo with playing that would make Stevie Ray look down and smile. Mick Taylor's solo follows; and it's as if Mick is talking thru his Les Paul to Buddy saying "is that all you got big boy?". Taylor follows with a solo for the blues history books that ends with a "fuzz-wah" pedal flurry that left me stunned. Mayall's singing is also really good, better than most of his studio album releases. The camera shots are superb & the overall sound here is fantastic (with the exception of Clapton's guitar volume at times).
So I get a little carried away! You almost have to with this dvd. My only regret is the absence of Peter Green; his contribution to Mayall's legacy is as great as any.
Regardless this is a must, add this dvd to cart ASAP!
Outstanding Night of the Blues........2005-10-17
Where should I start? Mayall at 70 plays and sings like when he was 40. Totally amazing performance by Mayall. I have been following his music since the Beno album with Clapton and this was one of the best I have seen him perform. The Bluesbreakers were outstanding, probably his best band ever. Tom is an amazing organist and knows how to really play the Hammond Organ. Joe is a very smooth and solid drummer and I can see why he has been in the group for so long. Hank is a great Blues bassist. The one that totally amazed and touched me musically though was Buddy Whittington. His playing, Tone, Chops, are FIRST RATE. I have played the DVD over and over again just to hear him play. He is one of the best Blues Guitarists I have heard in many years. He plays with amazing feeling but at the same time with great speed and presision. Very hard to do.
Mick was very good especially on Blues for Laurel Canyon and Oh Pretty woman. He plays some very nice slide on the ending track Talk to your Daughter also. He does not seem himself though and I also saw the medical bracelet on his wrist. Hope he is ok. Buddys Slide playing on Talk to your Daughter suprised me. I was not expecting it. Sounded a bit like Duane Allman!
Eric was very good and got better as the night went on. I think even Eric was inspired by Buddy though and after Buddy's solo on Have You Heard, Eric really plays his heart out. On The first two tracks with Eric (as others have also pointed out) Eric is way down in the Mix. Especially on No Big Hurry. That is a Shame.
The Quality of the DVD is outstanding, great shots, sound, color. Only problem I see is Erics level on the first two tracks like I already stated. Otherwise it's a FIRST RATE Concert in every way. So glad to see John going STRONG at 70! Hope he can still do it at 80! If so I will be listening! Buddy, Keep up the great playing! He is such an amazing musician.
