Awesome music videos from different styles of music..........2005-12-22

This DVD has a wide variety of different music styles. There is something on here for everyone. While I agree with the other reviewer that you can't understand all of the words in a couple of the songs, it's very cool that these groups are producing music that glorify God in a way that many kids my age like these genres of music. The music videos' quality is awesome, just as good as mainstream music videos (granted, these are done much more tastefully). The number of songs on the DVD is cool too, especially for the price and the fact that these vidoes aren't on TV all the time, so definitely an awesome buy for the price. I like being able to see the people I hear on the Christian radio stations (The FISH, K-LOVE, and Christine stations with online streaming), it's cool to see the emotions on their faces as they sing the songs, it adds another dimension to the lyrics of the songs that doesn't always come through on the radio alone. It's an awesome DVD, hope you all like it as much as I did.

Important note! This is a variety DVD across the spectrum of musical styles. You get everything from soulful gospel (Selah), to softrock (Orrioco/Crowns), to hardrock, to upbeat rap (KJ 5-2), to hardcore rap (Grits). If there are musical styles you like or don't like, those styles WILL be here. The good thing about a DVD is that you can skip styles you don't like if you want to. For the life of me, while I liked the "music" I can't understand a word said by two of the groups - I guess I'm getting "too old", but I praise the fact that these groups are producing music that glorify God in their own way and reach out to people who like this genre of music. The music video production value is MTV quality. The music-video by Selah almost brought me to tears. 16 songs is quite a nice value for one DVD. I loved being able to put a face to the voices I heard on many songs I listen to on Christian radio (e.g., K-LOVE). The exposure to varities of music genre was well-worthwhile. Enjoy!
