Sissel really has all good things: A beautiful voice capable of anything from popular to operatic, a lovely face and figure, and a sparkling stage presence. She is a pleasure for the eyes and the ears! It is too bad she spends most of her time in Europe, and it is usually only during PBS fund drives that we in the States get a chance to enjoy her artistry.

Sissel is among the best singers I enjoy listening to... again and again...and again; never tire of that wonderful voice and coupled with her good looks, she can really capture your attention.

Since first hearing Sissel just this past March, I have collected every CD I could find - or import. Unfortunately, I could only find 1 DVD and this is it.. Her rapport with the audience, and the "intro" she gives her songs on the DVD just enhance the overall experience.

I seldom watch concert DVDs, but since I cannot see Ms. Kyrkjebø live with my schedule, I decided to pick up this DVD. It's pretty varied with anything from Pie Jesu to an interesting version of Dolly Pardon's "Marry Me". I say interesting not because of her interpretation, but because of the clog dance which accompanies it.
