THIS WAS A WONDERFUL MOVIE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN FRANK SINATRA. HE WAS ONE HELL OF A GUY AND I LOVE TO WATCH OR LISTEN TO ANYTHING PERTAINING TO HIM.

I like the Rat Pack and I like this doccumentary about Las Vegas during it's Rat pack hey day and I loved the history details of old las Vegas. My only complaint is the whiney casino worker who kept complaining about Peter Lawford just because he asked for a certain brand of cigarettes. I mean was it really necessary to trash a man no longer around to defend himself and all because he asked for a different brand of cigarettes? That part was useless and mean spirited so I have to take points off or that! At least I think this is the doccumentary with the Peter Lawford basing casino worker but I could be wrong and if it is another doccumentary then someone correct me if I'm mistaken!

If I knew this thing was produced by the Travel Channel, I never woulda bought it. It's just another Travel Channel advertisement for Las Vegas. And it's filled with interviews of Rat Pack impersonators, for crying out loud.

Terrific Show !!.......2006-10-11

I knew this was a "Legends" show when I ordered it. Since I was born too late to see these great entertainers during the Summit era, I thought this would be as close as I could get. I was not disappointed. Sure, it's not the actual guys, but it is so lovingly put together that it is a terrific show anyway. Fake old films with the performers in character are interspersed within for the DVD to great effect. The "Silent Movie" bonus feature is particularly good. It took me a few watches to truly appreciate what they were trying to accomplish. These "Legend" type performers are extremely talented! Recommended for any Rat Pack fan !!

When did the actual Rat Pack become a West End Show?

Unlike the other reveiwer here, I kinda thought the title on the DVD gave it away..."London's smash hit West End Show" This IS the closest anyone these days can get to seeing the Rat Pack. It's a great show and Stephen Triffit is as close to sinatra as can be. Mark Adams plays Deano very Well and Gills is a very good Sammy.
The Berrelli sisters are beautiful. The show gives an inkling of what is was like to be in the company of these 3 great entertainers. Luckily I have managed to see the show live and the DVD is a great representation and a fabulous show.

There's no Frank Sinatra in this DVD - neither is there any Dean Martin or Sammy Davis Jr.

And nobody tells you this! Until you purchase it, play the disk - and find it out for yourself, in the most unpleasant manner!

I sincerely don't know who the HECK had the dumb idea of substituting those great singers. But not telling that straight up doesn't help at all!
