Closing out the 2004 Montreux Jazz Festival, Chic featuring Nile Rodgers made sure this festival would end on a high note. Jamming on some of their most memorable funk / disco hits ("Dance Dance Dance", "Le Freak", "Good Times"), Chic also throw in a medley of songs written by Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, but originally performed by Diana Ross and Sister Sledge ("I'm Coming Out" / "Upside Down"/ "He's The Greatest Dancer" / "We Are Family").

I purchased this item as a Mothers Day gift. Mom did her club thing back in the seventies and early eighties. She still spins this DVD every now and again and again. I enjoy it also, though I would prefer to be there.

Grew up listening to Chic when I was living in Rome,Italy in the late '70's....always loved this band and still do....there are a few cordless mic issues but this concert is AWESOME!WHAT TALENT! Starting with Nile Rodgers and all the way down the line.... wOw! DEFINITELY A MUST HAVE FOR ALL CHIC FANS.

Excellent! This is a very well produced, slick, and entertaining DVD. Great audio, great camera work, and Nile Rodgers at his best. The girls are very talented, and Sylver Logan Sharp can be a star in her own right. Aside from a somewhat lengthy bandmember intro, there are no "low-lights." This DVD should be the standard that all music DVDs are modelled after. So get this DVD and... "Leave your cares behind..."

Great to hear and see Chic again. This video was fun to watch and put you in a party mood. The vocals and band were great. I was happy to see a Washington DC native in the band on keyboard. Chic's stage presence was on the one.

This is the most amazing music DVD I have ever seen. This DVD is worth ten times the price. The talent that is on display left me wide-eyed. Whether you are a fan of Chic or not, if you love real music, this DVD is for you.
