5 out of 5 stars Blood and metal.......2007-05-09

Thrash pioneers Slayer have been known for years as being one of the best live acts, well, ever. Reign in Blood: Still Reigning finds the legendary band playing their entire landmark 1986 album "Reign in Blood" live from beginning to end, which in itself is reason enough alone to pick this DVD up. Besides all ten cuts from "Reign in Blood", some other live staples are thrown in like "Mandatory Suicide" and "War Ensemble" to boot, and of course, there's the blood soaked conclusion to the concert which is pure Slayer all the way. There are some interviews as well which are a more than welcome inclusion, and the band sounds and plays great (it's great to see original drummer Dave Lombardo back in the fold), while the video quality is solid and the crowd is more than into it. All in all, Still Reigning sums up just what the heavy metal pioneers are doing today, and this DVD is an absolute must own for any and every Slayer fan.

2 out of 5 stars I really can't review this...........................2007-02-21

This DVD is strickly for full fledged head-on Slayer fans. I got curious and bought it to see how they all played out on stage since I purchased the CD "Seasons In The Abyss" which I think is great! Slayer sends the wrong message all around in concert and that's only my opinion. Slayer fans enjoy this one because it is very "raw" to say the very least.

5 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Slayer DVD!.......2007-01-16

I've been a Slayer fan for 17 years and have seen them 4 times (#5 in Feb.!!!)and this disc puts you in the feel of one of their live shows.

This disc is well worth the money.I have two small complaints, though.
#1 I wish there were more backstage interviews, etc.(none really).
#2 During the middle of Postmortem Jeff Hanneman makes a mistake by going
into a riff too early and he looks around as if he knew he did it.Not a big deal, but something I caught.

If you have never listened to Slayer and want to jump on somewhere this is the disc for you.

5 out of 5 stars What you would hear in hell!.......2007-01-08

This is my first Slayer dvd stage purchase the price is great for the performance kick your butt show with blood raining on the band on the last song (and behind the scenes set up of the bloodrain. Mini interview of each member to get into the bizarre minds of the band members. Super show and bonus show performances after you watch the show, should've had Seasons in the abyss on but other than that very pleased and high replay rating!

3 out of 5 stars not as good as expected.......2007-01-03

well, i always like slayer music but their live sounding on live cd/dvd is just bad, the drum sound is nowhere as powerfull as the album version.

wht make it worst is that the crowd didnt mosh as chaotic as i expected. The camera is too focus on the band.
