5 out of 5 stars really lovely.......2007-01-18

I was much more impressed with this dvd than I ever expected to be. Well done, great mix of making you feel like you're part of the concert and still getting good shots of the band and being able to see whatever the hell it is les does to make his crazy/lovely sounds.

4 out of 5 stars Unique..!.......2006-11-03

2 out of 5 stars Primus SUCKS. for real .......2006-10-21

Well I tried, made it though about halfway in each song, some watched all the way. just cant touch Frog B or Oysterhead.

The state of music major bummer today, Bass Players of his caliber are rare, but nope I am not going to see this show in Dec 06 when they hit my town, been twice to Primus already, I always give people 2 chances. just a bunch of noise and sounds like 3 guys that keep running into each other and falling down. no grove like Frog B and Oysterhead. But then, Les is the man in Primus, he does not have to worry/deal with other egos, he is the Alpha in Primus. Egos, feeds us all huh?

Primus Sucks, for real

3 out of 5 stars Nice concert DVD but it's the show and NOTHING else!.......2006-09-16

I agree with the previous reviews in that there are limited camera angles but overall it was shot pretty well. Now I realize that the "Animals should not act like people" DVD was chock full of stuff and was a great example of what a DVD should be, but did that give them the excuse to give us nothing at all extra on this DVD? It's just the show and nothing more. In addition to that they decided to leave out the 15 minute or so comedy film about drug use that was shown during the break between set 1 & 2. The film was shot in the style of those old '50s & '60s anti-drug films like Reefer Madness but had more of a "Da smoke ain't so bad eh?" feel to it. Now granted there were clouds of "smoke" all over the venue I saw the show at (Seattle Seahawks Staduim Exhibition Center)so maybe it was made to appear funnier that it was but the crowd was laughing pretty hard during it. My point is with the total lack of any bonus material it would have been nice if they included this short film as well. So unless you caught the show live you will NEVER get to see it and it was pretty dang funny! Overall I give them an A for effort but in the end the lack of the short film and any extra material I give this one 3 stars. But I will say I loved the performance on this DVD and did not find the guys phoning it in at all.

3 out of 5 stars dvd leaves a bit to be desired.......2006-04-26

this i wouldent say is primus at its peak, i say if youre looking for a handfull of great primus live tracks, get the Animals Should Not Try To Act Like People dvd/cd set, its got alot more veriaty and i think is just all around better, this of course has its share of greatness, a great drum solo in the whamola, and also a great drum breakdown/jam in the last superpower, also an extreamly good live southbound pachyderm, but to really appreciate the complexity of the jams on the 2nd set, you really need to be pretty firmiliare with the album Frizzle Fry, i just wish they played Suck On This instead as the seccond set, this dvd needs Tommy the Cat on it!!
