I thought this was a really good dvd. All the songs were awesome, and there was no problems with the dvd. The making of the "wideo" sections were hilarious! And I agree with Gas about that "wobber with seeze" ^_^ I would definately recommend this dvd for all HIM fans. I'm not a big HIM fan, but even I enjoyed it.

after reading most of the reviews, i was expecting terrible sound quality but acutally, its not so bad, it might not be the best sound quality available but it certainly isn't painful to listen to
the fourth wall is hilarious and the interrogation footage is a must have for any true him fan

some have complained about the videos for and love said no and solitary man not being on the dvd, this is because those videos were both filmed after the dvd came out...rabid him fans (ie. myself) can get ahold of this footage on the bonus disk of seasons 2/3 of viva la bam...basically that includes the video for and love said no and the making of and love said no, which is also the making of solitary man...kind of, at least it has footage of the shoot in there

in conclusion, the dvd was well worth the money i paid for it and I'm going to say that it's a must have for any him fan since its the only legal dvd available in the states and any dvd's bought from overseas most likely won't play on your computer or dvd player unless you have a region 0, which many people don't have

Ok, first things first. This dvd is the only authorised dvd in the USA of HIM, not counting the recent Wings of a butterfly dvd-single. I purchased this dvd when it was first released and the reason it does not contain the "And Love Said No" & "Solitary Man" videos is because those tracks were released until shortly after this dvd was released. I have quite a number of official & un-official HIM dvd releases from all over the world and this is the only release that contains the Long version of "When Love & Death Embrace". The Quality is that of VHS videos, so no one was lying about that. The Audio is a bit muffled but it is still decent for a 2-channel music dvd release. Also to note, This dvd is the only release with the uncensored HIM/BAM segments. On the UK releases the segments are butchered and bleeped out and the whole hotel porno movie scene is covered up. So, even though this dvd is by no means perfect is does contain material not available anywhere else. So take it for what it is, if you are a worldwide HIM collector of any kind, it is definitely worth the money. Also, look around on the web for the Uncensored Wicked Game video. That's about it. Thanks for hearing me out.

Love the DVD except for the quality.......2005-10-09

Any HIM fan will love the dvd. As noted before though from a few other people, the quality of the video and audio is not so great. Left channel only (seems to have been dubbed to the right channel as well), the quality also looks like they've been put on the dvd direct from VHS or something. Eh, anyway. It's cool though if your like me living in the US where you haven't seen any of the video's.

When i first ordered this dvd, they put me on hold, and i thought, oh, okay, it won't be that long...anyway 4 months later i finnally got it. Im glad i waited. This is an excellent dvd. It has more music videos on it than most other bands will release on a single dvd (more and better content than the Cradle of Filth *a band totally unrelated to HIM* dvds) and the "making of" sections are hilarious. Now, don't get me wrong, I think Bam is an idiot, but for some reason he's just really funny here, i wouldnt watch him anywhere else though (viva la bam- what garbage!) Anyway, buy it!
