Laid-back but sharp and even stirring during a longish acoustic set, the guys quickly get past the nostalgia element and sound truly viable. They even make it look easy: the sight of Joe Walsh wearing glasses and sitting in almost perfect repose as he effortlessly colors old hits "Tequila Sunrise" and new material such as "Learn to Be Still" may make you wonder why you ever stashed that guitar in the attic. Enough people have reviewed about the album and hence I will stick to the quality of sound. I brought this DVD as a reference DVD for my music setup comprising of Klipsch speakers, HK 635 amp linked using Monster THX cables/inter-connects mostly brought from Amazon. The quality of music listening to the DTS is amazing and really make you proud about your investment on hardware. As is being reviewed by hifi buffs, I almost started listening to each and every instruments separately and this is where the danger starts. Music is supposed to be listened to as one, when you have more and more expensive music systems, you will end up listening to some un-heard sound, missing the song. There should be a limit to the "separateness" needed for people who loves Music and I think I have almost crossed that limit with my set up.

I'll keep it brief as the benefits of this now classic performance have been well stated in other reviews. All I can say is if you like the Eagles music you'll love this dvd. And.. if you have a decent audio set up, it'll blow your mind! Beware the 'Farewell Tour' dvd new release. It's not bad but you WILL be dissapointed by the sound especially and the performances after the 'Freezes Over' experience.

After almost thirty some odd years of being a die hard Fan,this concert rejuvenated My Well Being, and Soul. One could see and feel the utmost spiritual aura that came forth from all the band members fingers and voices, as they played their instruments and sang in such beautiful harmony.
I became totally mesmermized in viewing and listening to them on this musical DVD in front of my entertainment center. An uplifting,emotional and a very much enjoyed,production of Famous Musicians
that I will continue to view and listen to for many years to come!!

In this concert you don't see a laser show or video screens, no dancers, no back ground singers, just 5 guys with guitars sitting on the stage.... and they play some of the best music ever recorded on DVD. It still brings tears of joy whenever I play it.

This is hands down THE BEST DVD I have. The music and sound are great. Everyone performs at their best. The documentary format gives a little behind the scenes entertainment. The rumors of Henley and the group being quintessential perfectionist are confirmed. Did I mention the music and the sound are great?

You can pop this DVD in & watch it or crank it up & walk away. I like to load it in when I read or surf the net. If you feel like watching it you can but like the other reviews have said, the music is terrific. I am actually thinking of buying another copy in case my first copy goes bad!!

There should be a limit to the "separateness" needed for people who loves Music and I think I have almost crossed that limit with my set up.

      I'll keep it brief as the benefits of this now classic performance have been well stated in other reviews. All I can say is if you like the Eagles music you'll love this dvd. And.. if you have a decent audio set up, it'll blow your mind! Beware the 'Farewell Tour' dvd new release. It's not bad but you WILL be dissapointed by the sound especially and the performances after the 'Freezes Over' experience.

      After almost thirty some odd years of being a die hard Fan,this concert rejuvenated My Well Being, and Soul. One could see and feel the utmost spiritual aura that came forth from all the band members fingers and voices, as they played their instruments and sang in such beautiful harmony.
      I became totally mesmermized in viewing and listening to them on this musical DVD in front of my entertainment center. An uplifting,emotional and a very much enjoyed,production of Famous Musicians
      that I will continue to view and listen to for many years to come!!
