Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great beginner reference.......2007-06-23

This really is a great starting point for guitar. Keith Wyatt has been around a long time and is a top-notch teacher. The DVD brings you through the basics of chords and scales (all with practice tracks that are very helpful) and then brings you up to example rhythm parts for country/blues/rock and then closes with an example lead part for the same three genres of music.

I learned more from this DVD than I did in a month and a half of lessons with a teacher. I strongly recommend this DVD.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent way to learn..........2007-06-11

I am a raw beginner, so I did not want a learning dvd with someone playing hard just for playing sake. I have learned much more within just the first few chapters than I have with other lessions.

The pace is good and the instructor pleasant to work with.

Highly recommended.

I read some reviews and this one got some glowing recommendations. I bought it and was quite impressed with the number of lessons and diverse techniques found within it.

For the price, there's nothing you can get that's better.
