This film illustrates Jimi's influence on performers from all generes of music and celebrates his talent as a composer. Through the performances and unique environments of 11 artists who love Jimi Hendrix, the film travels from the sound stage with well known film composer Mark Isham to the recording studio with Chuck D. of Public Enemy, to the concert stage with singing star Cassandra Wilson and to the New York loft of the great performing artist Laurie Anderson. This film takes us through the many genre's of music that Jimi remains a part of and reminds us why his songs have become American standards.
