Very good unauthorised product but it is only a cheap new 1-hour documentary from the US about the history of the Stones. As the producers don't have any copyrights for Stones-music, we only see stills of the Stones and hear no Stones music at all!

Fun & priced great!.......2006-06-23

I bought this DVD along with the Queen Doc in the same series. And as I posted in my review of the Queen DVD, I really don't agree with the negative reviews. Again, the decription states there is NO MUSIC, or performances, etc.

What you do find here are fun and interesting facts from a fan's perspective. Refreshing!!!

If you're looking for the definitive biography or a live concert... you won't find it here... but you will find a fun program!

And the "Nerdy British" host - I found very amusing!

Great Documentary .......2006-06-07

This is an interesting documentary...and at a great price! Lots of stuff I didn't know about the Rolling Stones that I thought was very interesting. If you read the description, you will notice it doesn't contain any music from The Rolling Stones...it's a documentary of how they got started and all that interesting stuff.

Waste of Money.......2006-05-21

Don't buy this DVD! YOU CAN HAVE MINE! What a waste of money!!! "On The Rock Trail" is a low budget, superficial "Rolling Stones Lite" documentary that has NO STONES MUSIC, NO STONES INTERVIEWS---even with friends, acquaintances, or people who have played with them. Just some bizarre, nurdy British Guy on a motorcycle driving around Britain and showing you where the Stones hung out when they were starting out. Oh yeah, and he also tells you an anectdote about Mick getting drunk and peeing his pants in a local pub. Gee, just what I needed to know! If you are new to the Stones, you might get something out of this (but I doubt it). If you are a HARD CORE STONES FAN, you will be disappointed in the extreme. Don't buy this DVD! Instead, I suggest a better way to spend your money is to purchase a LIVE STONES DVD.

Rolling On or Flushing Down?.......2004-01-03

If I could return this, I would. The first 10 minutes of this one hour video was devoted to Elvis and the Beatles. The remainder looked like a home movie or surveillance video in black and white, showing the same clips over and over again with very poor video and sound quality. It covers the first 10 years of the Stones and features just a few songs being performed as well as some interviews and a bit of Mick's early acting career. I am a HUGE Stones fan, and this was painful to sit through once. I will never watch it again!
