HERE'S THE PITCH:
Mix some freesurf sessions with a little ASP, add some ''green'' and you've got one down-to-earth surf flick
BEST ACTOR:
Cory Lopez. There's more to the younger Lopez than just Teahupo'o pits, and Green's beach break footage shows he's still out there forever tweaking surfing's small-wave limits.
SUPPORTING CAST:
Parko, Irons bros, Shea, Dorian, Fanning Wardo, Kalani, Dean Morrison, Jamie O ' Brien, O'Connell, Taj, Slater and more.
THUMBS DOWN:
Although different, Green's non-linear feel jumps from location to location without warning and --at times -- without reason.
THUMBS UP:
Along with a smooth, reggae fueled soundtrack, much of the filming is spectacular and also careful to add touches of lifestyle. And the unique video segments from the North Shore offer a breath of fresh air from the usual 'Winter in Review' formats we see all too often.
